I actually got this game from a Grab Bag and played it a couple years ago it's a good retelling of the original game that it's based on, although somethings seem to be different, for starters one of the Khanto Starters Bulbasaur was relocated in pallet town. You can get him if you talk to the guy who walks around the small fence in front of Professor Oak's lab, although if you decide to nickname him the sprite on the nickname screen will be Pikachu since he's the first pokemon you're supposed to get but you won't have this problem if you get Pikachu first, of course Bulbasaur will already be level 10 when you receive him.
