I am in the USA. So I always picked Bulbasaur because he got left out of the game colors. Then I learned originally everyone's favorite not a dragon was the odd kid out. Green was the original and finally my boy Bulbasaur has justice. the fact that the pictures have Japanese in them is just a neat little shout out to its origins.
5 out of 5 stars. Packaging was extremely good on arrival. The game runs and plays flawlessly with zero glitches encountered. A fun and cheap way for those who dont understand Japanese to play Pokemon Green.
Excellent game & in excellent condition!
Not sure how much fun anyone could play with a version of Pokémon that doesn't allow you to save your file. Data gets corrupted every time.
I saw that you experienced a data save issue. Can you please let me know what system you are using (Gameboy, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, GB player on Gamecube, Super Gameboy on SNES, clone system, etc)?
If you are still experiencing the issue please message me the details and your shipping information for a replacement.
Thanks,
Gigi (Retro Gamers US)
The order came very quickly and exactly as expected. The cartridge is fully playable in a Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Advance SP. Interestingly enough, it was SLIGHTLY comparable with actual Pokemon cartridges. I managed to establish a link between Pokemon Blue Version and this Green Version but was unable to trade Pokemon or battle. I also tested the Green Version with the Gameboy Tower in Pokemon Stadium 2 on the N64. Unfortunately, Stadium couldn't run the game, however it did recognize it as a Pokemon game, as well as recognize that it was a Green Version. I played through the entire game and found no bugs (outside of the ones that are already in Gen 1 haha).
