Pokémon Liquid Crystal is a ROM Hack developed for the GBA system using FireRed as the base. It’s a complete Pokémon Crystal Remake of the the GameBoy Color classic. The story is the same as the Original Crystal with a load of extra events and even a brand new region to explore.

The internal clock function is disabled for this cartridge. It will still play as normal and you can finish the game and save as normal without the internal clock function. That is just something that would work on an emulator with the proper settings, but not with the cartridge.

Pokémon Liquid Crystal has some unique features such as the ability to travel to the Orange Islands region, a never before seen region in the Pokémon games. That’s not all, we have a bunch of features waiting for you to discover while playing the game such as Berry Growing, Diving, Hidden Areas and a ton more!

      internal clock

      I understand that the internal clock doesn't work but does that mean that the day/night cycle is stuck to day no matter what or will it transition to night as in game play time goes on?

      That's correct. The time you set will be static. Though there are some games that allow you to change the time at certain points of the game.

      Liquid crystal is literally the pokemon game I always wanted. The alterations from original Crystal dramatically increase the quality of the playthru for me so far as well. Already thinking about getting a 2nd hack. Thanks!

      Haven’t finished it yet but still having fun.wondering if they’re will be a new cartridge/update with a working clock./pokegear to rematch for more exp.

      Move tutor issues

      The move tutor for Dragon Claw is no longer offering to teach the move even though I haven’t taught the move to anyone yet. Also, the game for some reason thinks that Dragonite is not compatible with Aerial Ace, so the move tutor won’t teach it. Running into more and more frustrating issues like these the longer I play.
